The founder of a Colorado construction company, the president and CEO of an Illinois consulting firm, an accident/injury attorney and the president and CEO of a beer distribution company are among the buyers and sellers in this week’s priciest home sales.

Citybay Finance Ltd. of London, England, paid cash for a 8,867-square-foot home with pool originally built in 2006 on the north end of the Desert Mountain-Geronimo Golf Course in Scottsdale. The home was sold by Desert Property Development, a Delaware limited-liability company.

Richard C. Saunders of Englewood, Colo., purchased a 6,471-square-foot home with pool originally built in 2007 at the Desert Mountain-Cochise Golf Course in Scottsdale. Richard Saunders is founder and chairman of Saunders Construction in Centennial, Colo. The home was sold by Three Peaks Construction LLC of Scottsdale.

Thomas A. Zinna and Nancy E. Zinna, as trustees of the Zinna Family Trust, paid cash for a 6,081-square-foot home with pool originally built in 2006 at Mirabel Golf Club in Scottsdale. The home was sold by Big Rock 215 LLC, a New Jersey limited-liability company whose managers are Joseph M. and Jeanne Goryeb.

Moffett Jr. is president and CEO of Crescent Crown Distributing of New Orleans, Phoenix and Fort Walton, Fla. Crescent Crown was the No. 3 beer wholesaler in the U.S. in 2007 in volume of cases distributed and No. 2 according to dollar sales using 2006 volume, according to Beverage World, an industry periodical. The home was sold by Thomas D.L. Carlson and his wife, Rebecca.
